Never Ending Tasks
It seems that every time we complete something, if it’s either a school assignment or church activity, something new takes its place and once again we have to start over again. It becomes stressful as our life takes on this cycle that doesn’t allow any room or time for our friends, family, or ourselves. I’m slowly learning that in order for me to fully be capable of completing a task to its fullest and best, I need to be equipped to take it to that level; meaning that I need to be strong and healthy not just physically but emotionally as well. As new tasks are being written in my schedule, I’m now aware that I need to have extra time placed in there for me. With that in mind I know that with the strength of God I’ll be able to complete what needs to be done!

Excellent observation Ilana. This is something that I have been realizing as well as the school year begins to kick into gear. I've noticed that my life began to feel pointless whenever I didn't involve Jesus in it and He ultimately is the one that helps us throughout our emotional struggles. If we are not emotionally stable, then we begin to lose the motivation to achieve anything in life.
ReplyDeleteHere's a verse for the both of us and everyone else reading this blog - Psalm 84:7 "They go from strength to strength..." - God is indeed our strength, and He will help us during our most toughest moments. We will not fail with Him but go from STRENGTH to STRENGTH.
God bless!!!!! Ya tebe lublu :)
Anna and Ilana,
ReplyDeleteYou both make very wise observations about how to cope with the pace of nursing school! I like the verse Anna refers to, Psalm 84:7. It will be my prayer that you all go "from strength to strength".
So true Ilana, at times I get so buried in school assignments that I seem to put God aside thinking He would understand. I somehow take find time to complete my assignments but fail to find time to spend time with God. At this point I agree with Anna, because at these times everything seems to be going wrong and I begin to realize that life without God is pointless. God is supposed to be the center of our lives and without Him we can do nothing. I know with Nursing school things are going to get worse and overwhelming but I always find comfort and strength in this verse and hopefully it would help you both too.
ReplyDeletePhilippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
All the best for your first day of clinical's.
